● The short answer
Go to bing.com/forbusiness (the relaunched Bing Places), sign in with a Microsoft, Google or work account, and either import your Google Business Profile or claim your listing manually. Verify it, complete hours, categories, photos and links, then check it quarterly. It is free, takes under an hour, and feeds Bing Search, Bing Maps and the Microsoft ecosystem.
Key takeaways
- Bing Places moved to bing.com/forbusiness in an October 2025 relaunch and remains free.
- Importing from a clean, verified Google profile is the fastest route.
- Bing data reaches Bing Maps, Windows and Microsoft products, and ChatGPT search uses partners such as Bing.
What Bing Places is now
Bing Places for Business is Microsoft's free tool for managing how a business appears in Bing Search and Bing Maps. In October 2025 Microsoft relaunched it, moving it from bingplaces.com to bing.com/forbusiness, rebuilding the Google import flow and adding a recommendation tool that flags missing photos, hours and links. Existing listings were migrated automatically. Microsoft also said it plans deeper integrations with Bing Maps and Copilot; it did not say listings currently appear in Copilot answers, so treat that link as likely rather than documented.

Talk to usMore questions
Does Bing Places stay in sync with Google automatically?
Not reliably. The import copies your Google data at that moment. If you change hours, phone or address on Google later, update Bing too or run the import again. Put Bing on the same quarterly checklist as your other listings so the two never drift apart.
Do Bing Places listings show up in Copilot?
Microsoft has not documented that Bing Places listings feed Copilot answers directly. Its October 2025 relaunch post mentions planned deeper integrations with Bing Maps and Copilot. Since Copilot is built on Bing's search index, keeping your Bing listing accurate is a sensible precaution, but we would not promise a specific outcome.
